Our cross members are designed to ease installation by not requiring truck bed removal. Cross members are either an angle iron or a solid bar, depending on what each truck model requires. Some crossmembers are notched and some have pressed in bolts with varying bolt patterns. Installation concerns that these differences solve are: clearance distance between the truck bed and the frame, ability to tighten bolts because of clearance, etc.
