B&W Customer Testimonials

I just called and spoke to Paula in customer service. I have to admit at first I assumed I would have to speak to a bunch of different people about my questions, but not only did I NOT have to wait on hold, she knew all of my answers and provided some other ones that were really helpful, AKA things I didn't think about but that were good to know. Plus, the info I got was really helpful.

Thanks B&W.

Compliments to an awesome product!  I have a 2009 Ford F-350 dually with the turnover ball base and the fifth-wheel companion. I bought it in August of 2008, and the ease of use if great. Two nights ago, I was rear-ended pulling my 40 foot fifth wheel toy hauler. I was stopped in traffic at an exit ramp, and the vehichle that hit me came across three lanes of traffic sideays in a 70 mph zone.  My trailer held up OK. The B & W companion stayed in-tact, and ended up mangled. However, it absorbed the shock and probably saved us many more sore days and nights.

Thanks.

Folks, I have purchased and installed eight Turnover Ball gooseneck hitches in the past 10 or so years (3 for myself and 5 for others). The quality, design and ease of installation are what keeps me specifying your hitch to my friends and putting them in my own vehicles. I also like the fact that most of your dealers have the same price and almost always have free shipping.

The most recent installation was a 1111 on a 2011 F-350 short bed. with the addition of the urea tank Ford has put some break lines on a large bracket over the axle. You either must remove this bracket or lift the bed up to get the center section in place. I think you should add this to the installation instructions to reduce the chance for someone to damage brake lines.

Thanks.

Hitch installed exactly like instructions stated. I couldn't believe it! It is so refreshing to find a quality American made product. Please continue doing what your doing and and keep your company in this country. I get so tired of Chinese garbage!

Thank you, hitch was well worth the extra cost!

I got hit in the side with a load of cows by a big truck. My trailer was totaled, the axles broke off, the fender was ripped off. All it did to hitch was bend it. I will never own anything else.

I have owned 3 B&W Turnover Hitches in 3 different trucks. I feel they are the best around. I have also installed about 8 others for friends and family on my recommendation. They all love them too.

I also own 2 Companion Hitches and love them except for 1 small detail - the head tipping forward when the handle is opened. I understand that you have a spring for this now. Can I get 2 of these springs, none of my local dealers have had them in stock.

-- Kris Soper

I love using my gooseneck turnover hitch in my 2005 chev 3/4 ton pickup. I was wondering, if you could send me a couple of B & W trailer hitch stickers for my pickup for advertising by sticking it on my back window, or bumper?

Thanks so much!

I wanted to take a moment to tell you how very pleased I am with your transport system. I own a Dyna Wide Glide and a Electra Glide both of which I recently hauled 1300 miles to Wisconsin. I will admit that I was very concerned at first and stopped every 100 miles to check on the condition of my bikes. However, upon entering stopping point I ran over a curb and shook the trailer very hard and high. I just knew the bikes were damaged but when I opened the trailer both were as they were with no movement. Upon returning I never opened the trailer and began telling all friends about the system. The system is so simple to use it is well worth the cost.

Thanks!

My wife and I trailered our 2005 Road King Classic and 2007 Heritage Softail Classic from Rhode Island to the 2007 Daytona Bike Week. In preparation for that trip, I strapped both bikes down in our tandem trailer. It took the better part of an hour in the freezing cold! And even when we arrived in Daytona, it took 15 minutes to unstrap the bikes and roll up and stow all of the straps.

When we saw the booth advertising Robert's "strapless" Motorcycle Transport System, we were intrigued. I met Frank Roberts, inventor of the Robert's Motorcycle Transport System, and he explained to me how his system worked. It was simplicity itself and I bought two of them.

After installing them on my trailer, it took about five minutes to load and secure BOTH bikes, and less than five minutes to unhook BOTH of them once we got home.

On the trip back to Rhode Island, the bikes were solidly part of the trailer. There was no sway, as there had been on the trip down to Daytona with four straps on each bike! Even going through New York City on pothole-infested 1-95, the trailer was completely stable with both bikes secured by Robert's Motorcycle Transport System.

We are really glad that we happened to run into Robert's booth in Daytona. I highly recommend this product to everyone who might have reason to transport a motorcycle. As someone said to me after I showed the two Robert's on my trailer, this system is unbelievably ingenious!!

I wanted to let you know I received your latchdown system for a Christmas present from my Bride-to-be. I was really excited about it, and installed it the next day, without any problems. I just got back from a 2500 mile trip and it went smooth as silk. I had no problems with it at all. My bike didn't budge.

I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone. It definitely beats fighting with the ratchet straps any day!

I bought two units in Daytona. I live in New York 1324 mile, installed unit before starting home on my 2 Honda vtx cycles. WOW nice unit - easy install bikes did not move an inch over some pretty rough roads, a lot of interest from everyone I show!!!!!! I am sure more orders to follow - thank you.

I had a B&W hitch installed in my 2008 2500HD and I am positive it saved my wifes life last night. She was in a bad accident with a U-haul truck who decided to cut her off on the highway. She was pulling our 32ft Big Tex trailer with a load of 5x8 fence posts. The uhaul flipped after she hit it and then my truck and trailer went into oncoming traffic and slammed into the guard rails. The safety chains and coupler held on but in the end the coupler got ripped off the trailer. If this hitch hadn't held up I'm sure the trailer would have ended up crashing into the cab and seriously injuring my wife. In my next truck I will definitely have another B&W hitch.

My husband forwarded your email and suggested I contact you regarding my accident.  Since I was the stunt driver, I guess I'm the best one to tell the story.

Just over a week ago I was headed to the vet hauling a trailer loaded with 3 horses.  We'd had snow two nights before but the weather had cleared up, the sun had come out and the roads were completely dry...or so I thought.  After heading around a sharp curve at about 25 mph I started to accelerate to make it up a hill.  At the top of the hill I hadn't quite made it to the 45 mph speed limit and I saw in front of me a stretch of black ice on a straight away about 3 football fields long.  The wind must have blown snow across the road causing it to freeze overnight.  I tried to get the truck shut down before I got to the ice but there was no way.  I let off the brakes before hitting it but I was still going about 30 and the momentum of the trailer caused the truck to lose control as soon as the tires left pavement.

I went off the road in a snow covered wheat field and jack-knifed to the left.  The weight of the trailer kept it going even after the truck had come to a stop.  The truck flipped on it's side and wedged up under the trailer but amazingly stayed coupled.  When the wrecker arrived, they were able to hook onto the axle of the trailer, flip the truck back upright and pull both trailer and truck out of the field still hitched together.

After disconnecting the trailer from the truck the B&W Turnoverball appeared as if nothing had happened.  Then, after disassembling the truck bed it became obvious that the steel plate of the B&W hitch had probably prevented the entire bed from being crushed like an accordion.

We currently own two 3/4 ton trucks and both have B&W Turnoverballs in them.  I'm sold on B&W and wouldn't choose to use anything else.

Thanks for such a great product

I was introduced to the "Biker Bar" from a friend of mine, he actually had the Roberts Products version that he had purchased in Arizona a few years ago

I bought a toy hauler travel trailer and was looking for a way to secure my 2009 Harley Davidson FLHX for an annual trip I take with my wife to Arkansas, we had taken a previous trip to Sturgis this year with another friend of mine and we tied our bikes down the old fashioned way, wheel chock, tie-downs, compress the front forks, it took forever to get it all secured and I worried a strap would break on one of the three bikes in the trailer somewhere along the way, I checked them every single time we stopped, due to this lengthy ordeal and the limited mounting options I had with the toy hauler I was looking for something different and was discussing this with my friend at work, he said "I have just what you need" and he let me borrow his mount and I installed it in my trailer....... I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the "Biker Bar", not only the concept but the quality and I ordered one for myself immediately when I go home.

Just got back from a 3000 mile drive, Florida to Manitoba Canada.

While in Florida I purchased your "Biker Bar". Best money I have spent in awhile. Installed it in my trailer, loaded my bike and drove home. I still had to check the bike cause I couldn't believe how well the Biker Bar worked.

This is a fantastic device and I highly recommend  it to anyone who is considering trailering their bike.  My bike in a full dresser and it remained solid all the way home. Thanks B&W for a great product.
